Squashington University Competes at Nationals

The Men’s and Women’s Squash teams both competed at Nationals during the past two weeks.


The men finished 2-1, after moving up 2 divisions from last year.  They lost to Bucknell but beat the University of Washington in the battle of the Washington’s 6-3 and Kenyon College 5-4 in the Consolation Finals.  The results from the season and the tournament can be seen here: http://www.ussquash.com/ssm/pages/leagues/Team_Information.asp?id=5823

The women competed in their first nationals and received their first win against the University of California Berkeley 3-2.  The College Squash Association wrote: “Washington University in St. Louis and the University of California Berkeley played this morning in the Emerging Teams round robin. The 3-2 decision gave Wash U the program’s first-ever win at the Women’s National Team Championships.”
